Born From Real life Frustrations
LU Innovations was born out of a passion for adventure and a commitment to breaking barriers in menstrual health. Our founder, Erin Reid, experienced firsthand the challenges of managing periods during outdoor expeditions.
Frustrated by the lack of solutions, she set out to create a brand that empowers adventurers to embrace the outdoors without compromise. LU Innovations is more than just a product company, we are a voice dedicated to gender equity, providing innovative, sustainable period care for those who refuse to let their cycles dictate their lives. Why we only say “menstruators” sometimes
We use the word menstruators because not everyone who gets periods identifies as a woman. But we also say women, girls, and female adventurers, because lots of our community relate to those words too. We’re doing our best to be inclusive, honest and human, even if we don’t always get it perfect.
